Sidmouth College students celebrated their success today, receiving their A-level and AS level examination results, marking yet another year of excellent academic and personal achievements for students at the school, with an overall pass rate of 100%.
The College has improved upon the successes of both 2014 and 2015 with another notably strong set of 6th Form examination results for 2016. Staff, parents and friends of the College shared in their celebrations as students arrived to collect their examination results and consider their next steps in light of their outcomes. The year 13 student’s performance reflected the fantastic spirit, commitment and motivation of this year group and the fabulous support of their families in ensuring they achieve their full potential.

The College is understandably proud of the excellent performance of our 6th Form over recent years and this success is also reflected in the achievements of students from Year 7 upwards, including those eagerly awaiting their GCSE results on the 25th August.
Individual student performances that should be highlighted included:
Safeen Kay - A*AAB - Safeen is now planning to take a year out.
Annabelle Brooks - A*AB - Annabelle now goes on to take up her studies at Bristol University.
Olivia Drew - A*B BTEC Distinction - Olivia will be moving on to take up Hotel management training.
Adam Loker - A*AA - Adam is now set to take up his studies at Warwick University.
Beth Pugsley - A*AA - Beth will now be taking a year out
Joe Hill - A*AA - Joe is off to study at Bath University.
Edward Oswald - AAB - Edward is moving on to study at Surrey University
Charlie Ough - AAB - Charlie is now taking a tear out from study.
