Application process

We offer an open entry policy to all our post-16 A Level courses. Students must attain at least 34 points or above in order to choose to study three A levels. The option to study 4 A levels is available following discussions with the Head of Year, along with the possibility of following a programme of 2 A levels and a work experience programme. Students, as shown through their specific GCSEs,  must have the ability to achieve on the courses they wish to study. Details on the break down of the points are found in the sixth form prospectus.
Students from other schools, including those from outside our catchment area, are welcome to apply. We hold an open evening in the Autumn Term at which you will have opportunity to find out further details of subjects that are available and to talk to course teachers. You will also be able to register your interest in applying for a Sixth Form place.

Application forms are available from the link below, the College Reception or from the Sixth Form Centre from November. All students are interviewed for places by the Head of Sixth Form or the Sixth Form Tutor Team.
