Sixth Form Application Process

We offer an open entry policy to all our post-16 Level 3 courses. Students must attain at least 34 points or above including English and Maths at Grade 4 or above in order to choose to study at Sidmouth. Students, as shown through their specific GCSEs, must have the ability to achieve on the courses they wish to study. Details on the break down of the points are found in the sixth form prospectus.

Students from other schools, including those from outside our catchment area, are welcome to apply. We hold an open evening in the Autumn Term at which you will have opportunity to find out further details of subjects that are available and to talk to course teachers. Application forms are available from the link below throughout January. All students will be invited for a Progression Meeting  with the Head of Sixth in February.
