Virtual Sports Day - 17th July 2020

Sadly, due to the current circumstances we are unable to host our annual sports day, however the PE department have been working hard to set up our first virtual sports day!

Below are all 15 events (some still to be completed) with descriptions, information on scoring and demonstration videos. You will also see a
‘Record your score here’ listed under each event. Simply click on this and it will take you to the 'Google Forms' to record your event score.

Each completed event will provide your house with a 'sports day point', the house with the most points at the end of the day being crowned the champion! You must complete a minimum of 10 events across the day – however you can complete more. Bonus points up for grabs for those you do! Can anyone complete all 15?!

Finally - for each event you complete you must record your result (either via video or picture) as evidence and submit this on your Google Forms.

Top individual scores by year group for each event will be posted at a later date. Having said this a high individual event score will not determine how many 'house sports day points' are allocated and the overall winning house.

1 event submission = 1 house sports day point

How To Submit Your Results

Results will be submitted via 'Google Forms' by clicking on the ‘Record your score here’ listed under each event description. Each event has a unique and different submission form.

Make sure you are already signed into Google using your Sidmouth College account otherwise you will be unable to access the submission form.

We will only be able to accept submissions via 'Google Forms'. We will therefore be unable to accept submissions through email or 'Show My Homework'.

Please do email Mr Thompson at 'jthompson@sidmouthcollege.devon.sch.uk' if you are having any difficulties with event submissions via 'Google Forms'.
