All candidates should read the relevant Candidate Information Booklet below and all the JCQ Information Notices. It is important to understand the rules and regulations of the examinations before you sit them.

ENTRY INFORMATION AND FINAL TIMETABLES
Provisional entry information and timetables will be provided to students in February. Final timetables confirming exam rooms and seat numbers will be provided following the Easter holidays.
EXAM BOARD CONTINGENCY DATES 2025
All Exam Boards require centres to remain available to hold exams on set Contingency Dates. Parents and students should be aware that in the event of a major incident disrupting a day of schedules exams it is highly probable that the affected papers will be rescheduled to take place on one of the contingency dates. Students must remain available for these dates, even if their final scheduled exam falls before then. Please take these dates in to account when booking summer 2025 holidays.
For Summer 2025 the contingency dates are Wednesday 11 June (morning session) and Wednesday 25 June (both morning and afternoon sessions).
EXAM RESULTS DAYS 2025
A Level and Level 3 Qualifications results day – Thursday 14 August 2025
GCSE and Level 2 Qualifications results day – Thursday 21 August 2025
Results will be available to collect in person from the Main Hall for GCSEs and in the Sixth Form Centre for A Levels. Students will need to sign for their results.
If students wish for another person to collect their results on their behalf written authorisation must be given before results day by completing the relevant form: (paper copies are available from the college Reception)
SUMMER 2024 EXAM CERTIFICATES
For students who left Sidmouth College in summer 2024 having taken GCSE or A Levels your certificates are now ready for collection.
Certificates can be collected and signed for from Reception between 8.30am and 4pm until Friday 17th January 2025.
If you cannot collect your certificates by this date please email [email protected] or telephone the College to let us know when you would like to collect the certificates – please ensure that you give us at least 24 hours notice so that we can ensure the certificates are waiting for you.
Family or friends can collect certificates on a student’s behalf, however, they must bring a completed permission form signed by the student, and have valid photo ID confirming they are the named person.
These certificates are essential as proof of your qualifications for future job applications, so please keep them safe.
