Sidmouth College is a thriving and successful non-selective comprehensive school providing a high standard of education for all children within a caring learning environment. Sidmouth College sits in an attractive setting within the heart of the Sid Valley and serves students from the immediate town and the area beyond.

At Sidmouth College the achievement of our students is our main focus. We encourage each individual and celebrate their talents and success in an environment where everybody matters. We are committed to supporting every student throughout their journey; motivating and challenging them to achieve their true potential and ensuring they are best-equipped for a successful future beyond Sidmouth College and throughout their lives.
At Sidmouth College we have high expectations for each individual student, and we are committed to providing the very best education. We have a relentless focus on the quality of learning taking place. High standards of work, behaviour and achievement are the daily diet for our students and we work hard to ensure that every student is given the individual support they need to make the best progress and achieve their full potential.
Relationships between staff and students at Sidmouth College are exceptionally strong and this ethos is built on trust and confidence, which is underpinned by the support from our parental community.

Although our emphasis is unashamedly on academic achievement, we are also very proud of the wider achievement of our students. Beyond the classroom students have a broad range of opportunities including Ten Tors, Duke of Edinburgh, student leadership, music, art, drama, work experience and trips.

As Sidmouth College is at the heart of the community this provides students with opportunities to be involved with a whole host of events including the Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival, Sidmouth Seafest, Sidmouth Science Festival, Sidmouth in Bloom, Sidmouth Youth Theatre and associations with local sports clubs.

At Sidmouth College we aim to develop happy, balanced and open individuals who, by the time they leave us, are confident in their abilities and possess lifelong skills and ambition.
I hope that you find the information useful. If you would like to visit the College please do not hesitate to contact us.
