Moving on
The Sixth Form at Sidmouth College is your stepping stone to an exciting new career or further study.
During your time in the Sixth Form you will be given support and guidance both from your tutor and careers advisor.
The majority of our Sixth Form students move on to higher education. Many of our students have taken up places at top universities, including Cambridge, Warwick, Loughborough, Birmingham, Plymouth and York. Others successfully secure employment in careers of their choice or decide to take a Gap Year. Some stay on at the College on extended A Level courses.

UCAS and Higher Education Information
All students interested in going on to university will follow a detailed programme designed to provide them with all the information that they will need to apply to UCAS. This will form part of our guidance programme which operates in the Autumn term of the second year.
Students are encouraged to attend Open Days, Interviews and the UCAS Convention in March. Personal tutors will be on hand to give advice on suitable courses, the application process and the Personal Statement.
For more information, contact our Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Sue Hurley
