Ofsted reports
Ofsted visited the College on Tuesday 18th October 2016 to conduct a short Section 8 Inspection. The College continues to be recognised as a ‘Good’ school and one that has many outstanding features. Safeguarding was judged to be effective. We continue to work hard and aim high in our aspirations for the future.
Some of the comments made by the Ofsted Inspectors were:
“Pupils enjoy coming to school and this is shown in their good attendance.”
“Pupils’ behaviour in lessons is rarely less than good and often exemplary.”
“Safeguarding is a strength and permeates the life of the school.”
“Within lessons, the progress of pupils is checked frequently and, if necessary, adjustments to the support they receive are made.”
“The sixth form has improved and continues to improve.”
“The Governance of the school is strong.”
