Year 9 Guided Choices
In Year 9, all students have choices to make about the subjects they wish to study at GCSE. The choices you make are important in providing you with the right knowledge and qualifications to support your choice of further study or work after the age of 16 years.
Before making your decision, we advise you watch the information videos below with details about each course which have been made by subject teachers. Below you will also find an online copy of the information booklet to help you make those important choices.
Once you have decided which subjects you would like to take, please fill in the Google form and submit it.
Along with the online resources, in order to provide students and parents with the necessary information, allowing both to decide upon the most suitable GCSE pathway and option subjects, there will be:
1. An online information meeting (Date and time TBC). This will take place via Teams and all Year 9 students and their parents will receive an information letter about the evening.
2. A face-to-face subject information evening, held at the college (Date and time TBC).
